My enthusiasm, dedication, positivity and success have shaped my experience as a business leader and project manager throughout my career. My goal is to provide quality results efficiently while promoting collaboration and communication. I take personal gratification in fostering continued prosperity of my projects by instilling structure and programming to ensure sustainability.
I demonstrate leadership qualities in all of my projects. My strong communication skills, natural capacity to incorporate all stakeholders, attention to detail and ability to integrate seamlessly into new and varying work environments enhance the success of my projects. I value efficiency, open communication, collaboration and quality results. Most importantly for clients, I work to ensure my projects are strong and successful so that they will thrive beyond my engagement.
A background in management and education has developed my expertise in project management, organizational optimization and program implementation. I have owned and managed two businesses. My project portfolio includes managing a large federal research grant audit response, implementing educational career development programs, marketing and recruiting for a prestigious graduate program, conducting market research for a commercial developer, facilitating a strategic planning retreat, writing web text for nine graduate programs and leading a two-and-a-half year implementation of an e-procurement system for Duke University and Duke University School of Medicine.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Religion from Duke University, I spent six years traveling the world while managing a touring tennis professional’s career. I also volunteered in the Durham Public Schools for twenty years and led a successful campaign to raise $35,000 in one year for a K-2 PTA. My interests include sports, reading and travel.
